This exhibition revealed my direction towards flattened abstraction. Experimentations with hieroglyphic markings and Art Deco cohesion is evident. The colors are harmonized with subtle chromatic changes. My focus is to combine the influences of European modernism with traditional art styles of cultures commonly excluded from internationally known art movements.
